Allen Charles Scott was born on June 17, 1937 in N. Hampton, MA. His family moved to northern Montana when Al was young. When in high school, Al was adopted by Jack and Doris Rambo who lived in Kevin, MT and legally changed his name to Allen Scott Rambo. He graduated from North Toole County High School in 1956, briefly served in the military and married Judy Lorenzen in 1958.

The couple moved to Great Falls, MT where Al met Don Hagen and they started Hagen & Rambo cleaning service. Al later started Cascade Supply Company, Custodial Supply Company and had other entrepreneurial ventures. His family eventually moved to Coeur d'Alene, ID and then to Spokane, WA. Al took the nickname "Boppa" and enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in sports such as softball, basketball, track and football.

He passed quietly at his home on July 6, 2016 and was surrounded by his family and friends. One of Al's best friends and business associates, Bill Martin, passed on the same afternoon.

Al is survived by his wife Judy of Chandler, AZ, his son Jay (Donna) of Spokane, WA and daughter Jill Lindquist (Dave) of Glendale, AZ, his brother Dave Hammer of Salt Lake City, UT, Bob Treat of Durham, CT, sisters Barbara Moon of Orofino, ID, Elizabeth Morris of Salt Lake City, UT, Charlene Anderson of Choteau, MT, his grandchildren CJ Paul of Phoenix, AZ, Hope and Josiah Lindquist of Glendale, AZ, Jennifer Rambo of Spokane, WA, Julia Rambo of Caldwell, ID, Serena (Sterling) McPherson of Spokane, Andria (CJ) Jenkins of Bellevue and Megan (Chase) Ramey of Seattle and great-grandchildren Malechi, Avalee, Noelle and Liam McPherson. Boppa, love you and miss you.
