Thanks David for relating details of your interesting life-story. Hope you and your family are well. All the best. Seymour Freedman
Sam was a very smart guy, with an original sense of humor and a wonderful smile.
I remember Howard as a very strong, but somehow gentle and nice person. He was not a friend of mine but was one of the people it was just nice to have in one's class.
I remember Richard Tofte as an especially intelligent person, perhaps the most learned for his age in his class. I did not know him well, but respected him greatly.
I remember Tom as a friendly modest person who always had a wonderful smile for everyone.Condolences to his family.
I remember Frances Mailise from our School 10 class. She was the nicest, most friendly girl in the class, and everyone liked her.
I was sorry to hear of her loss.
Rudolf was a childhood friend of mine, and went to School 10. He had the most beautiful singing voice and I remember him singing at school. He was mild- mannered and easy- going. I believe his father was the minister of a church on River St. I was very sorry to hear of his loss.
Jon was a very smart and interesting person. Unfortunately he had very bad asthma which meant he was often absent from school and had a difficult struggle. Nonetheless he became a very competent lawyer, and once helped me with something very important to me at the time. His mother and my mother of blessed memory were very good friends.
He left the world very young, and this is always a great source of sorrow.
