Comments:

After PV, it was 2 years at U of Alabama (BIG mistake), 2 years Army (1 of which was in Vietnam), several years in sales, got married, returned to school in Dayton, OH, got BS & MBA. On graduation, took job with huge accounting firm in Cleveland, lived there for 21 years (WHAT was I thinking???), divorced, moved to Dallas in 1998.

Several jobs here, got married, divorced again, now consulting for international firm. Mostly I develop Access database applications. Still in Dallas and loving it.

I enjoyed my PV experience for the most part. Parents were getting divorced during senior year, I was terrified of girls (although I fell in love with a different girl every week or so), so I was pretty shy, despite my comedic personna. I made some friends who drew me out a bit and I'm grateful to them.

I love Tucson. I always have a good time at the reunions and look forward to seeing how pathetic you people look now. :) Except for Linda Scalise who hasn't aged a day - what a beauty, inside and out.

I hope you'll be there in '09... before long, we'll be dropping off the roster. Come, even if you hate it - there will always be people happy to see you again. I'm one of them.

School Story:

I was on the tennis team at PV (yes, we had one). I was awful, but thankfully there were 10 slots (I was #10). I baked out on the courts, but my tan looked great in my "whites".

The thing that kept me interested was being able to ogle Diane Cannella and Barb Jameson who played on the girls tennis team.

Haven't played tennis since. But I could be convinced to play with Diane or Barb any day. Tennis, that is. :)

Happy Birthday, Malcolm, and many happy & heathy returns of the day. It's pretty cool that you were born on Saturday - probably made getting people to gather for your birthday parties a lot easier, didn't it? :)

Tennis anyone? OK, good.

Happy Birthday, Minnie. And many healthy, happy returns of your day. It was SO very nice to see you at the mini (Minnie?) reunion last March. Hope to see you again next March. BTW, Mimi Jensen live just a few miles from me. She's offered to host a TX mini-reunion at her Plano TX home. It'll be fun to visit with the other TX- PV64s. Anyway, great to count you as a friend and to have such fond memories of you.

I just realized why you couldn't remember coming to my house for the swim party - that was because I was referencing your home before you went off to DC. You may have been trying to place it from your second Tucson home. Or maybe you're like the rest of us and just can't remember shit. :)

Your pal,
George

Happy Birthday, Kelly, and many happy returns of the day. I hope this finds you in good spirits, happy and healthy, too.

Hey, I've been organizing "mini-reunions" for PV64s in Tucson near the end of March for the past two years - it's really a brunch on both Saturday and Sunday. I'm planning on repeating it again in '24 and I was wondering you might have any interest in coming. They've been a lot of fun, with only 15 or so people attending - nice to be able to actually sit, catch up, and laugh a LOT with the other kids. If you are interested, LMK and I'll make sure you get the details. It'd be so nice to see you again.
Love and cheers,
George

Hey, Rusty. I know it's a bit early, but Happy Birthday to you and many happy returns of the day. Do you still live in Canada? Think you'll ever get down to TX again? I put together an annual "mini-reunion" (brunches on Saturday and Sunday) in Tucson around the end of March. No large crowds or major expenditures—it's really fun. This March will be the third gathering. It'd be great to see you again if you think you could make it.
Cheers,
George

Hey, Heart Throb. Your birthday is near (as you may remember), so this is an early Happy Birthday wish. Too early or too late - the story of My Life.

Richard Small tells me you have set up shop in Oregon. Such a beautiful state. How did you decide on Oregon? Kids? Running from the law? Couldn't read the map? :)

We're going to have the 3rd Annual PV64 Mini-Reunion/Brunch again in Tucson at the end of March, 2024. I hope you'll be able to attend - it's been a lot of fun and small enough to be able to actually talk to people. It'd be great to see you again, too. Think about it.

Cheers,
George

Happy Birthday, Joe. We all missed you at the mini-reunion brunch. Everyone was asking about you - we even had a moment of silence - but I assured one and all that you'd be attending the 2024 Brunch. Things settled down after that and we resumed talking about our aches, pains, meds and grandchildren. A good time was had by all.... at least I think that's what happened.

Happy Birthday, my friend,
Geoerge
