I've continued volunteering as a photographer for several organizations, the Greenbelt Land Trust in Oregon, the Arizona Land & Water Trust in Tucson - when I'm there and some Democrat candidates in Oregon. Political activism occupies as much time as I can devote to resisting tRump. I'm helping Danny Jaffer, who is running for the Oregon House of Representatives against Oregon's version of tRump, an ogre named Mike Nearman. I am also helping Indivisible Benton County with a variety of issues. For the first time in my life, I ran for precinct committeeman and won.

It's all been fun and laughter, except for the election of tRump, who is destroying the United States.

Going to Palo Verde was a joyous change for me in 1962 as a junior. I had suffered through three years (8th, 9th and 10th grades) at Staunton Military Academy in Virgina, That was when I was 12, 13 and 14 years old. That military school was a horrible place. Luckily, I was kicked out for a long list of violations and ended up going to Palo Verde for my last two years of high school. Many great memories at Palo Verde. Thankfully, Staunton Military Academy has been torn down. No more torturing cadets.
