We had snow in South Georgia this past Friday. Made me glad that my parents moved from Iowa when they did.

I know what you mean Pete, we added another 14" to that 15" in the last couple of days. More on the way this afternoon. Anybody got a snowblower they're not using.

Jeff, you mentioned snow. It left us cold-lol. We are still here- though awfully quiet. Are you ready to come back to some great weather? We have it now-could change in a minute but it is sweet now. C'mon down!

I hope everyone has taken the time to browse through the new photo gallery Debbie has put up! It is so fantastic and I know you must have some more to add! The funny ones you took getting ready for a date or cruising around. Dig em out and add them to the gallery. Let's fill it up w/ memories and smiles!

The all-class reunion is in less than one month. Or era- 70"s, will be at Sharkey's Friday night. The area is great because we will have space to spread out. Because of the size of the crowd, if you have portable chairs, bring them. I am told that Sharkeys' will have a tent set up on the beach for beverage purchases along w/ the inside bar area. Remember, crowds. So, be patient, bring chairs or beach blankets, perhaps some bug spray and  be ready to have a great time!!  A $10.00 admission will include discounted drinks, comp. snacks, and an air conditioned charter bus that will take you to the other venues to visit w/ other age groups.  Bus will start running at 8:00- 12:00, stopping at each bar for 5 minutes and go to the next one. You do NOT have to pay again to get in to any of the other bars. All you have to do is flash the wristband, and bada bing- you're in. 50/50 raffles will be done also- to benefit the Venice High School Scholarship Foundation. See Facebook for more details on the reunion. There is so much happening- call one of us to get all your questions and concerns addressed. We are ready to party it down.

Well, it's late Sunday night, after the all-class reunion and am reflecting back on the wonderful time so many of us had this weekend! I am blessed to have been a  part of it and to see my friends there enjoying the occasion! So many smiles, hugs, laughter and constant dancing. If you are one of the many on the dance floor- you are probably still smiling! Life is good and we made great memories- I hated to say good bye- thanks, sistas and this was just the warmup for our own reunion in a few months!!

Now that I have had some time to reflect on the All Class Reunion.

"IT WAS WONDERFUL"        Did I yell that loud enough?

Had such a great time at Debbies with close friends.  Then Friday night at the Beach and Left Coast with my Hubbys group.  I laughed, cried oh no I wept.  Life has been wonderful but I really wish we could all get togther more often.  We have such fun and renew our youthful fun when we are together.

I believe we grew up in the greatest time in history. We laughed and danced with inocense, we cried and drank with the reality of the war.  We raised children half in good times and half in bad.  We worked and built more wealth and inherited more wealth then any other generation in the US history. My heavens we should all be rich!  Oh yeah then in 2008 our world crashed, Oh well if I was just youger I could do it all again.  We had great opportunity and we still believed in God, Family and  Country.  Could not have asked for more.  May we always rise to the occasion and meet the needs of ourselves, our families friends and this Nation.

I am proud to call you friends and I Love you all........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have registered; thank you so much!  And we will see you there. Thank you, Beckie

Sign of the Impending Apocalypse

I heard our Theme Song "Get Together" by the YoungBloods being used in a Luv's diaper commercial on TV last night

I guess we're in good company~ They also used the Beatle's "All You Need is Love" as well.

OK, here's the deal for regular Forum Followers~

When we are at theReunion dinner or Friday night @ Left Coast and someone walks up and says. " You haven't changed a bit since high school!" or words to that effect, they have to buy the table a round of drinks. Or we could make it one drink for the person they say it to and repeat offenders would have to buy the table a round.

Andrea Bruback (Wolfer)

Joe, that's gonna be tough to do! There are an awfully lot of people that haven't changed much. How about a Three Stodges hand shake or something?? Do you remember that one?? Now, that could be funny, seeing a whole room full of people laughing as they try it. :)

Andie

OK, let me qualify that Andie. Beautiful blondes like you, Jennifer, Tally and redheads like Debbie don't change much but most of the rest of us won't look like our yearbook pictures.

Well, guys, here we are- one day after the big weekend! I hope everyone had a really good time & want to do it again this weekend! Just kidding, Deb. lol. Many people worked many hours to pull off one of the most polished events we have had! If you didn't come, you missed a great weekend with so many hugs, and so much laughter and dancing. Wow- it sure was fun. Thank you Deb for the many hours you devoted to keep it running smoothly. Cathy Layman came up with great ideas in the fine tuning the event and creating the program for Saturday night, Beckie, in making the itinerary for the weekend and being most diplomatic on the website, Bruce, being of quick mind and fantastic memory, figured out in about a nano second how much we needed to charge for beer to break even.  Mike Shrode had the management skills to get a meeting done in less than 10 minutes!!! No lie. Vic McMurry- bartender extraordianire- made Vic's Voodoo Magic to liven up the meetings.     Rod Harper will keep the memories of the past reunions alive and touching when he produced the DVD for this reunion. Priceless!!! Aah, what a great reunion.
