Julian was a proud member of Archbishop Carroll’s 1st “Washington DC City Championship Football Team”. He was a great friend and a pretty good football and basketball player. We played football at Carroll for Tuffy Leman’s and Moss Collins. He had a great nick name as we used to call him “Mr. Clean”. He played basketball during the great run of 55 straight wins and was like me a member of the team that brought that streak to an end in 1960-61. We all miss the big guy!
