Whittier Pico Rivera PTA Council needs your help to say “thank you” to the extraordinary person or organization that tirelessly serves children and youth in our community-- always willing to help and giving an amazing amount of effort to everything that they do. The Honorary Service Award is an appropriate demonstration of gratitude for service above and beyond to children and youth.
- Very Special Person (VSP) – recognition for assistance to children.
- Honorary Service Award (HSA) – special recognition for outstanding service to children.
- Continuing Service Award (CSA) – special recognition for ongoing or longtime service to children.
- Golden Oak Service Award (GOSA) – the most prestigious PTA award in California may be given to an individual or organization that has made significant contributions over time to the welfare of children and youth.
There are two additional Honorary Service Award categories, the Outstanding Teacher Award (OTA), and the Outstanding Administrator Award (OAA). While it is unlikely that a teacher or administrator will fulfill the district wide requirements, the Whittier Pico Rivera Council will give your nomination all due consideration.
Note: Nominations for the Whittier Pico Rivera Council should be for a person or group who has made contributions which benefit students and youth across Whittier Pico Rivera Council PTA. The contributions should be over and above what is done to benefit a specific unit or council.
