Children: I have 5 ch: Sid, Sean, Tom, twins Cara & Cora. All in their 50s now as of 2018. Three live in Alaska More…except Sean who is in air force & just returned to US from Azores as he retired after 26 years serving our country. Sean is now living in Oregon. Sid is working & living in TX come Oct. '18 San Antonio area.

I mainly have been raising a family in Alaska's interior & bush country. That is isolated. Raised them on correspondence & now they are all in careers raising their own families. That is when I feel my age.
Now I am an author who wrote 'Arctic Homestead' about raising my fam in the first 7 yrs up there. It is an exciting, adventureous, read in the view of survival of life. A can-do book! Plus it is now on audio with Audibles app.
I love travel, photograph, & writing. Family comes first. Love being retired to do own thing. Am single to enjoy hiking, travel, & exploring different things of life.
I am a very strong christian. It influences all of my life & what I do. Jesus is the Lord of my life!
In my 70s life has changed drastically in my health which has limited me for any kind of travel. I especially love driving trips & also my time in valley in Alaska each year which I haven't been able to do for 5 years now. Praying for healing & back to good health. Plus new direction in life!!!!
School Story:

All my memories of high school are a pleasant space of time & era. Friends were my life. They made me a happy person. I feel we were raised in a good era of time which made us well rounded adults. Plus we got good education in those days which is lacking in todays schools. I think we contributed very much to a good America. Still some of my best friends today are my childhood & high school buds. I cherish them!!!
I am sure that we all look back at some point & value our lifestyles back then. We have each accommpolished something special in life & now our golden years are sliding by way toooo fast. Where does the time go? Is hard to believe 50 yrs have gone by for a reunion. Looking forward to seeing you there!!!!
I truly hate missing out on the birthday gatherings so could see some of our chums. Life just can throw you curves now & then. Praying for a healing of health.
Is hard to believe we are all turning 75 this year. I know many are older or younger but just is shocking to me. Health seems to be the key ingredient in accomplishing our dreams we plan for at this stage of life.

Hey there Ed, dropping in to wish you a very happy happy birthday. Time sure passes by quickly. Sorry I haven't been good at communicating as health & tech just haven't been working for me. Pray you guys are doing great up north! Think it is going to be a strange winter as everything has been crazy for more than year climate wish. Extremes for sure. Hey there happy guy, just dropping in to say happy happy birthday!!! Sorry I am late but not on pc lately as many health issues dealing with & lots of work to do slowly of course. In july I got for my first cataract surgery. Pray your health is good & life active. Did love your back yard & patio work. Bet is all done by now. Good time to do things when most are staying home anyway
