One time when I was really broke but had to re-license my car. Beverly recognized me and filed a "vehicle not in use" form and literally saved me hunderes of dollars. I appreciated it so much. A real act of kindness from a classmate I really didn't know that well. An unsolicited act of kindness that I won't forget.
Beverly, Karen (Richardson) Magby and I were the three musketeers in jr. high and really dear friends. Beverly had a beautiful voice and all three of us were in the North High Choir. Karen was the "popular" one and Bev and I were the ones who were fat enough to make her look skinny (ask Karen if that wasn't her plan)! I lived in Calif. when my Mom sent me word that Beverly had been killed in a car accident. She was a very nice person, good to the bone and I can't wait to see her in Heaven!
