I am so sorry to see this. I remember her face and remember how nice she was. She was a very sweet person. In our 4 years of high school we still dealt with racial problems now and then--i remember some sit-ins, but she was never racially motivated in any way. May she rest in peace and my prayers are with her family.
Gena was one of my buddies! We hung out ALOT! She was my friend and also my cousin. Gena had a son named Christofer. I still miss Gena and can't believe she passed so young.
