Thanks to Fred, whose enthusiasm and leadership has provided us with wonderful reunions every 5 years since 1973! Thanks also to those who traveled to Winston-Salem to be with us. If you didn't attend this reunion, you missed a terrific group of friends! Not only was it a great looking group (and it really was!), but everyone appeared happy and comfortable with themselves and each other. I am proud to be apart of the NFHS Class of 1973!

Ditto Pam and ditto Martha. I missed the 30th reunion, but I feel like I made up for it a little bit this time around.

Fred is the glue. You are the glue, man, you really are. I was telling my wife Sunday morning after breakfast at the hotel that it's amazing how you just keep on doing this. It must be exhausting. I appreciate your dedication. It is inspiring.

It was great seeing all of you again, and even though I did not get around to talk to all of you, it felt really good to be among you all again. Our class was special and I think we all know it. Peace to all of you.

I want to add my thanks to Fred for being the point person for this reunion. It was the best one yet.
I think everyone truely enjoyed the weekend.

And for those of us that made it up to room 712 afterwards, the JMU women's soccer team (that were staying on the same floor and complained about the noise) won their match the next day against the women from WFU. I don't feel guilty at all now.

It was a great time with great folks. It was like being with family again. Pam, Mark, David & Diane, Martha and everyone else, it was great seeing all of you again. Take care and see you all soon.

Regarding Dennis Weatherman's profile reference to the infamous goalpost incident...it may have been awesome but not as awesome as sitting in Ivester's office the following Monday morning and listening to him go on and on about how much trouble I was in, like I'd just stolen the Hope Diamond or accused Dave Wilson of having an out of tune guitar.

Sorry I missed the reunion everybody...that makes two in a row. I'll definitely try to make the next one. Hopefully I'll still have all my hair but unfortunately the reddish blonde that the girls all went crazy over is slowing turning gray. Ok maybe the girls didn't all go crazy over it but they should have.

Rick don't worry about the hair turning grey. It's only when it starts turning loose that you should worry. There were plenty of us guys at the reunion that fit in both categories. Except for Ocheltree. He still looks 18.

Yeah, Chuck has hardly changed at all. And that Richard Gere look-alike guy....had some of the women doing double-takes......oh yeah, that was Mike Westmoreland with all that hair. He looked young too. I meant to ask Valerie about that. Good thing we aren't the jealous type.

Hey Rick (and boy-we missed you at the reunion) Actually I sold mine for a five dollars a strand at North my senior year to the girls and told `em it was yours to put myself through State. Problem is-I never could get it to grow back! Lucky for me I`ve got such a good lookin` head!!!!!

ps my Smithfield wife gives your Selma wife her best and wishes she could have come to the reunion too.

My wife is also a Selma girl...gotta love 'em but those Johnston County flatlander girls don't talk like us Forsyth County hill people.
