Hey Fred,

If the breakfast is still on what time? I would like to make it down, but I need confirmation so I can make travel arrangements. I would also be up for dinner and dancing later in the evening, if anyone else is too. You know, make a weekend of it. I know you, MK and others can dance, I have pictures to prove it!

I know that we (NCSU) will get killed today, but I have to say it anyway....GO TO HELL CAROLINA!!

We were at the game, Dennis. Big crowd and the Pack kept it just close enough for most of the game to keep the crowd in it. Too much athleticism inside and speed everywhere...those guys can move.

Doesn't change the 41-10 beat down in Chapel Hill which I had the pleasure to witness.

Maybe we should dress the basketball team for next years football games!

Virginia Tech, then Georgia Tech. I'll bet the Deacs are glad they don't have to play Forsyth Tech! I wouldn't worry about Raleigh Tech, though. We found out on Saturday that they fold like a cheap pup tent!

Donna Canter (Goforth)

Condolences go out to Dennis.....not only did his beloved Wolfpack lose but so did the Cardinals. And John, even though I am a Wake fan that was funny.....

Donna please dont encourage him

Well the Deacs did beat Chapel Hill Tech. So they have that going for them which is nice.

Oh and John. If you do dress the basketball team for the football game next year, make sure they are wearing those Duke Navy blue colored uniforms. They seem to be Butch's favorite. Russell Wilson says hello.

We love to spank that a$$.

Russ Wilson

What a week. UNC spanks State, Wake loses (again), Dook loses, and UNC gets a top 10 football recruiting class! Is this a great country or what?

02/05/09 07:53 PM #153

Deborah Nifong (Patterson)

This country is the best, John! It doesn't get any better than when Carolina wins and Dook takes a beating!

Pam Griffin (Guyer)

Deborah, I just saw your message about Homer. We are so sorry to hear about his death. I still have that vision of him on the sidelines cheering. He truly was the Vikings #1 fan. Please pass along all of our condolences.

Ok nobody has posted anything lately so............does anybody remember the plastic fire hats they use to give out at Rural Hall Elementary?? Why I thought about that I have no idea. But I thought I was the bomb with that plastic fireman helmet!!

02/11/09 09:59 PM #156

Donald Addington

Sorry Deac fans - Go Pack!!

02/12/09 11:28 AM #157

Pam Griffin (Guyer)

What about those Heels last night? Anybody out there?

02/12/09 11:34 AM #158

Donna Canter (Goforth)

Yes - I remember the red firemans hat, I just can't remember why we got them. I also remember the sugar cubes we got for polio. Oh and Rick - you still are the bomb. :)

Any Old Town Elementary alums remember the stuff they used to spread on the floors for dust control? You could slide forever on those old wooden floors.

Also, the unmistakable aroma of the stuff they put down when someone threw up?

And, if you thought about girls at all, you thought about how they messed up the kickball game? Later on you discovered that it didn't matter if they screwed up the kickball game. That's about the time you assumed that all the loose girls must be at Mineral Springs!!

John Luebchow

How about those Heels? Took Dook to the woodshed and spanked some tail. And congrats to the State fans. Hung on to beet the Deacs. But you do realize, had State been ranked #1 (instead of #101), Wake would have won!
