After graduation Penn State in 1973 with a BS
biology I started out as substitute teacher (long term) for a couple of years. Then I worked for General Electric Co. Installation and Service Engineering. in the gas turbine division. Worked on the Alaska Pipeline. Changed directions in 1978 and started a business growing hydroponic herbs. Moved to New Jersey in 1985 to operate a greenhouse growing hydroponic living lettuce. I added another 15,000 square feet of greenhouses and branched out to grow more herbs, micro greens, perennial herbs, and flowers. Had 15 employees. If you purchased lettuce with the roots attached in the Philadelphia area from 1985 to 2013 it was probably mine. I'm also a music junkie; hundreds of festivals and concerts. Play guitar and jam
