Hey Terri, Allen and I were talking about Eddie Moore tonight. The best we could remember was he died in an accident while out on a scallop boat shortly after high school. Can't remember any details. If that's not correct please let me know.

Terri... you are now officially on my sh*t list! You were that close to me and you didn't call? Oh my goodness! Karen is now the favoured one... you have lost your position.

Louie,

Eddie is still alive and kicking. You are correct that he worked on a shrimp/scallop boat, but not sure if he still does that or not. Will have to ask my mom what he has been doing. I know he is married and has a couple of kids.

Gina,

I know, I'm sorry. Val and I blew in late Thursday night and left early Saturday morning. I didn't even call Karen. The next time I visit Karen, we are going to give you a call and try to come see you I promise. Forgive me?

Terri, Thanks for clearing that one up. I do remember that Julie's husband died many years ago. Not sure if she remarried or not. She was always a little on the wild side.

Lou,
I hope you, Al and Trey were able to get together...we don't need details, just to know that a good time was had by you three, and any crashers. Do you have any address or contact information for either Matt Ashby or Marty's parents? I know years ago they moved to FL, and had Marty moved down there somewhere (if I heard that right). I'd love to write them and remind them that none of us have forgotten Marty after these 30 years.

Terri, Karen, Gina (again, no particular order),
see what I mean.....(from Gina)
"Terri... you are now officially on my sh*t list! You were that close to me and you didn't call? Oh my goodness! Karen is now the favoured one... you have lost your position." Meeeee-yowww

I guess we HAVE to kiss and make up otherwise Ken will have more fuel for his fodder! (but no tongue!)

[I personally, have never forgotten Marty and I never will]

Yes, Gina can be mean, who knew! I guess I need to sharpen my claws before next year and get back into my kickboxing class to take her down, lol.

Louie....Yes Julie's husband died in a car accident when their son was really young. She remarried and still living around there, I think. Eddie is married and has one daughter. He is no longer working on the scallop boat; he was working for Frito-Lay at one time, but not sure now. Janet is in Missippi or Louisiana and the youngest, Jeff is married, and lives in Naples, FL.

have not checked in in a while, but if Gene has a new motorcycle, I think all mailboxes should be aware!!!! remember Gene?

Well Cindy glad to have you back...and for us that do not know why we should protect our mailboxes, give us the dirt on Gene

Tommy and Louie,

Ok, watched that video and that is a sport.... plenty of physical exertion :-)

Dave, The dive out of the helicopter and catching the the 250lb marlin by hand may be fake but it sure looked cool. The jetski tuna fishing looked exhausting. The biggest problem I'd have is worrying about the sharks. The last time I went deep sea fishing we saw a half dozen hammerheads.

Cindy, do tell the mailbox story.

Kenny, Allen and I met up Monday night. Trey tried to make it but his schedule got jambed up. He felt bad so we went easy on him. Seeing Allen and catching up on each other makes me even more excited to see everyone next year.

Terri, Julie's first husbands name was Greg Mitchell.

small piece from FORETICH's memoirs: "Being Buck naked with Tom and Mark Lorenzeno and riding on the hood ,trunk and top and all over the VW while Mark WILLIAMS was parking with a girl doing the dirty... "

Oh how I wish i could have been there for the Mark LORENZINO part! He was another quiet crush that I had. Don't think I would have been as appropriately dressed as Mike...but maybe! Mark Williams was a piece of work to say the least! I never had designs on him...something tells me he wasn't a virgin even at birth! :)

LOUIE LOUEYE says: GA cops leave you alone down here, not like York County. No offence Richard.

I didn't think YC did anything as they were all down at Yorktown for the traffic situation. We had a major light show going on on my street with no interruption (in pouring down rain...it was too much fun!).

I have a State Trooper on my street and a YC at the beginning of my street! (I guess they might have been working) But seriously, YC actually answers fireworks complaint calls on the 4th? I can't imagine they could possibly even attempt it!

07/09/08 07:15 AM #617

Louie Luongo

Gina, Last year I was lighting off fire works and YC's finest pulled up and scared the crap out of me. He made me quit and said that he would not do anything else unless he got a formal complaint. A guess the diiference is I live in the more densly popoulated area of Tabb (cheap seats) and you live in the big houses on the water contributing more tax dollars to the County. That and I was shooting off the big mortar shells that nearly shook the ground went they exploded. lol

Good morning all. Getting ready to leave the Holiday Inn in Beaver Falls PA for Detroit. Enjoyed being home. Good seeing you Lou. Probably going to be be back in Oct for my sister's 40th bday party. Birkbeck left me a message last night. Can't wait to talk to him. Lou and I talked about having an informal gathering during the holidays. Name a time and place and show up if you like. Might be cool. Good to see Wanda signed on.

Gina, I hope you're laughing with me and not at me. With you it's hard to tell.

Dave...

2 years ago while fishing Cape Point in Buxton, me and a friend I call depth finder (He's 6'4") were wading to the outer bar. He was in front. I looked up a 6' sand tiger was wading with us, right between he and I . I yelled to him, he let Mr. Tiger have one across the nose with the butt of his rod, Mr. Tiger did not like the odds...

Another friend had a laser range finder. We were told (much later) that we had waded 561 yards off shore.

And like the pair of dumbasses we are, we had pockets filled with 12oz sustainables. By the time we came back, the tide had rose and I had to test my gear, by wading through a slogh that was now 6' deep...

Drum fishing is an addiction,,,,and like all addictions, it can take ya away...

But what the hell, we only live once...(On earth that is...)

laughing at Louie Loueye (editing)

laughing at your description of the explosion... but certainly not at you in any bad way.

We had something called Secret Agent... when those booms went off it set off a car alarm. when yorktown was doing their finale it was like a major war was taking place... we were booming and to the left, right and in front (and yorktown) was all exploding at once... so yeah... i can get your shaking ground thing!

Holy crap Cindy - I totally forgot about that - I was racing Ricky Hawkins in his Camaro on Greenland Drive coming from a party at someone's house at the end (was it yours or Louie's house), I can't remember but it must have been a good party, the county had put new gravel on the road my bike started fish tailing and took off into the air and I watched it go over my head and hit some old guys mail box, he said if I came back in the morning and fixed he wouldn't call the cops - so we pushed it around to Tabb Lane hide it in the garage. Then went back and fixed the mailbox as promised I think! But it wasn't painful (beer) from what I remember.

07/10/08 06:51 PM #624

Cindy Meredith (Routt)

Well, Gene, I don't know if you went back and fixed the mailbox or not, but they called the cops anyway, and Jay got a DIP ticket for having a beer in the circle. Then the cops came in the house and carded all of us in the house...the funniest thing was I knew just what to tell Jay because I had gotten a DIP ticket the weekend before because Anne Bata, Melinda and I had gone to the "Spectrum" and had some beers in the car..Mel and I had finished ours and trashed our cans,,,but Ms Bata pulls over to put on her lipstick, and handed me her beer...guess what,,,cop walks up and I get the ticket!! too funny..

Hey Cindy, I don't remember this party. I lived next door and you didn't even invite me. What's up with that????

Speaking of Lorenzino...is he still around? Has anyone seen/heard of him??

07/14/08 04:29 PM #627

Louie Luongo

Hey Tommy, I'll give Charles Estes a call this week and find out where Mark is.

07/14/08 09:44 PM #628

James Richardson

Hey Louie, No offense taken about GA cops vs York County. You just need to invite me over for the good fireworks. LOL.

Kenny, great hearing from you too. I do read the posts, boy I could make another career with all of these confessions..... LOL. It is great catchig up, I still think the PINES of york sign trick was the best so far!
