ANNOUNCEMENTS

OK, it's official...The majority of you that responded to our 60th Birthday want to spend it in Cleveland. So, how about some ideas???

Most of you would like to have a long weekend, but  we can accommodate those who want one day by planning activities so that those who want 1 day can pick their day.

I'm all for spending a night or two at a great hotel downtown Cleveland, and seeing all the fun sites that are available, like the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, Science Center, and maybe going back to the Lakeside Yacht Club and each of us having our own checks, and ordering whatever we want. Maybe spending part of a day in good old Berea.

I'm sure that many of you have even more exciting ideas, so let us know!!!

I hope we see you there!!!!!!!!!!

- UPCOMING BIRTHDAYS-

Feral Child Genie
4th November ( 1970 ) : Genie a feral child is taken to Children's Hospital Los Angeles after her mother enters a welfare office in Temple City, California, to seek benefits for the blind. Genie had spent nearly all of the first thirteen years of her life locked in her bedroom. During the day, she was tied to a child's potty chair in diapers and at night, she was bound in a sleeping bag and placed in an enclosed crib with a cover made of metal screening. She was never allowed to talk as her father beat her every time she made any sounds. At 13 years of age her vocabulary consisted of about 20 words. The movie Mockingbird Don't Sing was based on this tragic true story .
