In Memory

Edward Dolder

Edward Frederick Dolder    January 5, 1946 - May 8, 2011

Ed Dolder was born in Seattle on January 5, 1946, and died in Coupeville on May 8, 2011. He was the eldest son of Fred Dolder, Jr. and Francis Ewing Dolder. He is survived by his sister, Jan White, brother, Richard Dolder, daughter, Andrea Dolder, and grandson, Jason Atkins.

Ed grew-up in Mountlake Terrace, and enjoyed wrestling and football in high school. He went on to join the Air Force, and later owned his own remodel contracting business. He was married to Shelby Blackwell, Mary Muzzuco, and Vicki McNeal.
Throughout his twenties and thirties, Ed was involved in motorcycle desert racing, snowmobile riding, and various other sports. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when he was in his late thirties, and spent the last 10+ years of his life at Careage of Whidbey in Coupeville.
Ed was a very strong and determined individual - his strength is an inspiration. He was an excellent father, always supportive and encouraging. He was a hard worker - strived to be the best. He is loved by many, and has been a blessing in our lives. We will all miss him dearly.
