Diana Note (Atkinson)

Diana Note (Atkinson)

Diana Laine Note Atkinson      Sept. 8, 1945 — June 6, 2005

Diana Laine Atkinson passed on to join her parents and brother in Heaven on Monday, June 6th, 2005. Born September 8th, 1945, Diana was raised in Sandpoint by her parents, Elliott and Iva Note and graduated from Edmonds High School in 1964. She married Gary Atkinson on December 2nd, 1966 and the couple went on to raise three beautiful children: Steven, age 29; Stacy, age 27 and Shane, age 20.

Diana worked for a number of years for the J.C. Penney Company, later quitting, joining her husband in the family carpet business. Their clients include Callison architecture, Bayley Construction and Nordstrom. In her spare time she helped build a new home for her family while somehow managing to get tomatoes planted as well. Always appreciative of a good joke and quick with a smile, Diana's greatest pleasure was her family. She left knowing they loved her too.
