Dave Marr has reported that Lyall Lucas passed away on August 9, 2026.  The following is a synopsis of what Dave reported. 

The Lynn Valley group has lost another member.  Lyall Lucas passed away on August 9^th at his home in Salmon Arm.  His wife, Betty, told me that she had gone to wake him up & he was gone.  Lyall & Betty have three sons & I believe they all live in the Salmon Arm area.

Lyall was an interesting guy.   I think his first job was with a company called Letson & Burpee ( not sure of the spelling) & he was trained there as a Pattern Maker.   He became a very good builder & was one of the first in the interior of BC, Vanderhoof & Salmon Arm, to build Mini Storage facilities.  Lyall also did very well buying & selling lake property & houses.

I don't think Lyall graduated with our class but I know he will be remembered by the Lynn Valley group & probably a lot of others.
