Ron died in 1976. Ron graduated from Cleveland State and I believe he went on to earn a MS in library science. He missed 8th grade with us because of a brain tumor operation. Ron was never expected to walk again. However he recovered enough from brain surgery to join us and graduate from high school on time. The brain cancer came back and he succumbed to it in 1976. He is survived by younger brothers Mel, Roger, and Douglas, all of which graduated from Berea High. He was interested in politics and was an avid wildflower photographer. A Ronald Hauser memorial garden is located at the Cleveland Metroparks Interpretive Center located near Cedar Point Road.
