We believe our classmates want the ability to reconnect with old friends more often than once every five years. We also believe our classmates enjoy opportunities -- in person and online -- to reminisce about our days together at WJ.  As a result, we created WJ1977.com.  Here are the capabilities we provide the WJ Class of 1977:

• Enable classmates to reconnect virtually, regardless of where they live in the world, through a private, secure online experience.
• Provide online access to documents, photos, videos, and more that enable classmates to reminisce about their experiences at WJ.
• Host informal gatherings in the local Bethesda, MD area a few times a year.
• Assist fellow classmates who are visiting the DC area to reconnect with locally-based classmates.
• Keep the class updated on our history, travels, and future… and to remember those whose life’s journey ended too soon.
• Work seamlessly with complementary online tools, such as the Walter Johnson Class of 1977 Facebook page, to promote communications and sharing among classmates.
• Provide information such as the date, time, and location of upcoming formal reunions.
