Just had to share this with all of you, as it just about freaked me out! As I was looking on the computer and posting on here about the picture of Kent Harting, he walks in to my office today. He hadn't seen his picture yet, so I showed it to him. He knew almost all of the kids in the picture. I thought the one next to him was Russell Due, but he said he was never in that class.

I think that Russell (RIP) may have been in our first grade class, but the photo posted doesn't look like Rusty. I could be him.

I also thought that Bill Schroeder was in our class; he must have absent that day.

Brenda thinks it is Russell Due. If you look at his classmate profile picture, maybe that helps. She doesn't know who the little curly-headed guy at the bottom is, though.

I think person next to Hank is Bob Grabbe. For some reason it seems like he lived in Westphalia area at that time. I'm still not sure about person next to Moon. Moon, Reese/Rodney Stoelting didn't go to Westphalia either did they?

I think you are right, Dan. I think that it is Bob Grabbe. I think the Grabbes lived in the house where Clarence and Elsie Meeks once lived. I don't think the Stoelting boys went to Westphalia school.

I don' t think that the boy next to my picture is one of the Due brothers.

Hey Moon - I e-mailed pictured for official verification to the one and only "Shade" Kerzan. He also thinks it's Rusty Due which I am now also leaning. If that is Rusty, still wondering why Randy isn't in photo (unless he was sick that day). Randy was a year older than us wasn't he ??

Kent/Steve/Brenda - I truthfully don't remember but since they're not in photo I suspect Bonabeth may have went to Edwardsport and Alisa to Sandborn (???) although they did go to church at Westphalia.
