          I have been off work since Feb. of this year with more back problems. I got good news today..........I have been awarded Social Security Disability. I am done working for the rest of my life. I have lifted my last case of soft drinks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wanted to say Hi to everyone. Hope you all are doing good. I am not on the site much but check it more now that I am retired.I sent Tom Held a message last week but I guess he is on site about as much as I am.

I think Tom is into Freelandville history and I have an old address book from the 1890's. I thought Tom might be able to tell us something about it. I have stopped by his house a few times but can't catch him, so I tought I might catch him on the 70's site.

If someone see's him please tell him to check his message's the information is there.

By the way I seen Frank Welton on Labor Day he stopped by our house for about a 1/2 hour. He lives in Indianapolis and is retired. Looks like the old Frank and is doing well. He said he has never had a computer and never will. I told him about this site, he said he would look it up on his kids computer????? Later he drove his Mom over to see us. She is in her late 90's and remembered all the storys and friends. It was very nice to see them and a very very nice surprise.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas.  The web site has been very quiet.  I hope everyone is doing well and that everyone has a Happy New Year.  Please let us know how you are doing if you have the time.  My daughter got engaged a few weeks ago.  I realize I am behind most of you with regard to your children getting married.  No date has been set yet, but I am saving my money.  I am still living near Charlotte, NC and still fly for US Airways, which will now become American.  It will take awhile before the US Airways name completely goes.  I can fly until I am 65 by law, so hopefully I will still fly for 3.5 years before they kick me out of the flight deck.  I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year.  Rich
