I see a large number of classmates along the front there.  Wish there was a way to really reach out to them and encourage them to come.  I ma soory to say I just thought about the reunions over the year and just never new who or how to contact anyone about it.  always just to busy.

  Now looking at the memorial it really strikes home.  I hate to say it but I am sure that there are others who have not been listed.

Is there a way to get it on the radio or other traditional media ?  I know at one time I have heard announcements about class reunions. But I do not know if they look on it as a public service or not.

 Hopefully we will hear from more people.

It is now forty years and I'm reflecting on my past; it seems that after my dad died our junior year everything has gone down hill for me. After several bouts of infection with my type 1 diabetis I'm lucky to be even above ground. I'll be at the picknick but the dinner is impossable due to wheelchair and public transportatuion accessability. Still it will be great to see you all and hear about your kids and grandkids. I don't have any but I had a bunch of great kids that I taught in my carrier as a teacher, (Get that Bear Meat a teacher!)

For those of you that remember our foreign exchange student, Peter Voellmy.  I was able to meet up with Pete in Switzerland a number of years ago and we traveled through Zurich, Aarau, Bern and ended up at a film festival in Solothurn.  Too much fun to list here.

I'm surprised that he survived his time hanging out with me during his year at BHS (Including our head-on collision on the back roads of the Little Sahara sand dunes, thanks for sacrificing your car Mort!)

Hello BHS Class of 1974 !!! I have 60 people total who have RSVP and paid for the reunion on Saturday night at Oakridge August 16 … Oakridge will take that number as a soft count but you can still get money to me until next Monday August 11 then I have to give them a final count so if you are thinking of coming just DO IT it will be so great to see each other and catch up… We have been waiting 40 years for this !!!

Good question!! No dress code, but I will just say this: don't wear prom clothes, and don't wear what you wear while doing yard work! Somewhere in between that you feel comfortable in is just right! We just want everyone to come!

I reallyl loved the Pic Nic and the Reunion Dinner.  It was so fun to see how others have fared after 40 years!

More than 1/2 of the people told me they would not go to a 50 the reunion because of vanity.  I wish to crush this notion right now as if I had to take my ugly old face to the 40 maybe some of you can catch up on the years so I wont look so old standing next to you.  Please dont talk like you arent conming to a 50th reunion.

     A friend told me that " all the ugly gals from school would be pretty and all the pretty gals would be ugly"!!!

my observation is that we did not have any ugly gals in school and now they are better looking than they were in 1974.  way to go ladies!!   There were however a few guys that could use some work!!

     I completely enjoyed myself and if I were in charge I would not change anything!!  Thank You to all who worked on this reunion for making it the best it could be!  All I wished is I should have played golf  Thanks Paul anyway!!!
