Hey, Carolyn I appreciate your concern. Galynn said she would bail me out you said you would bring cookies. Nice. I have an idea, why don't you come first, and then Galynn you check with Carolyn and come right after she has dropped the cookies off to me before you sign the check.

Let's do this for the CDs,  if you live close enough and it's not a big deal to swing by my house, then just let me know when you want me to leave a cd for you. Text me at 801-699-4996. Ill text you my address. I'm in the Sugarhouse area.

if you would rather leave me your address and name and I'll send one off to you . Right now I have seven but will burn more for cookies.

Haha that's a joke . I do NOT need cookies . I might WANT them.... REALLY BAD, but don't do it.

Even though I was unable to attend the reunion, I have very much enjoyed looking at the photos and reading the life updates and other comments posted on this website and on Facebook of former classmates.

OK, it's time I admitted to being a class of '74 stalker.  It has been fun watching the posts, thinking about friendships old and older, and getting a bit of a feel for the reunion I missed.  Sounds like it was a good'un. Roger, my husband, and I live in Gold Beach, Oregon as we are remodeling a home, living with our oldest, Chris and his wife, Tamara, and daughter, Hattie Solveig.  Living with your children is not something I would recommend, but the granddaughter thing is a delight.  We hope, someday, to return to our home in Bountiful and find a new adventure to 'live'.  If anyone wants to come to one of the most beautiful places on the planet, get yourself out to Gold Beach and we'll show you the wonders of the area.  They are many and varied.

Thanks again, folks.

HELLO BRAVES -Class of 74

If you missed the reunion you were missed. It was awsome to see so many of you again. I must admit there were some I didn't recognise but that was because I wasn't as socially active in High School as many of you. When I got home I felt I had missed a chance to say Hi to some of you. Sorry.    Hind sight is always better. It really was a lovely evening. Both nights!  yes

I told Mr Perkins about the pic nic and he would possibly have come but he had to speak at a funeral in St George.

Ladies, way to go. As Bob Pierson said, You all looked great! Some had hardly changed. Others had really gained some Eligence to their Beauty. All were lovely.

Thanks again to the committee for an awsome job - Well done.yes

I am PROUD to say that I am a BOUNTIFUL BRAVE - Class of 74. We had some great times and lived in a wonderful era. BRAVES really ARE GREAT. See you around and stay in touch.

If you run into anyone who wasn't there, get their Info so we don't miss them next time.

I too listened to the CD and was taken back to years gone by. Sadly some of the song don't play well in my truck and not at all on my best player. It works pretty good on my beater player.smiley

Randy, while I always feel it is appropriate to extend condolences to acquintances who have lost loved ones, it seems like he lived a long and full life and I can only hope to pass to the other side in so peaceful a manner as he did. I hope his funeral will be a time for your family and his friends to come together to celebrate his life and renew and strength relationships.

Randy, I did not realize that Orlin Ford was your uncle.   I should have made the connection, because of the last name, but I didn't.    Thank you for letting us know of his passing.    I had him as a teacher for math and physics classes.    He was a good teacher.   I remember while all the rest of the school was having parties/play time during the last day of school prior to Christmas break, that Mr. Ford's classes were having tests.   This was so that we wouldn't have to study and do homework over our Christmas break.   So, this was actually very nice of Mr. Ford.    He was a good teacher.   Thanks for letting us know about his passing.

Randy,

Thank you for sharing this information on your uncle Orlin.  He contributed more, to more people, than he probably was aware of.  A life well lived!

Hello Braves of '74! Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas, and here's to a wonderful 2015!

Do you realize that since most of us will be turning 65 in the year 2021, we have only six years left until we are "seniors" again? Yikes!!!!

We definitely need a get-together in 2019. Ten years is too long, and we don't have any time to waste!

Have a wonderful 2015, my friends!

All,

My condolences go out to Sue Higgs (Angerbauer) on the death of her husband Lynn.  Lynn and Sue have been like second parents to my son Shawn.  The funeral is today (March 9th) I'm sure Sue would love to hear from any of you.

Thanks, Leslie, for letting us know about Sue's husband.    If it wasn't for this site, I would not have known.

Sue, we send you our heartfelt condolences at this time.    It will be a difficult few months ahead of you.    We will remember you in our prayers.    Good luck, and hang in there, my friend.

There was a horrible accident at the point on the mountain last night.  There was a 59 year old man killed.  His name is Dale Orton.  Does anyone know more details?  I hope it wasn't our Dale Orton.

Leslie Merrill

Julie, thanks for posting the notice.  From Sunday's obituary photo it sure looks like it was "our" Dale Orton.  Was Don his brother or cousin?
