I agree with you 100% Joe. We all need to be in agreement together for the healing of Marians' mom. There is no power on earth, or anywhere, that can stop Christians, when we are on our knees in prayer with our Father!

To all who are having Birthdays in November: Wishing you a Happy Birthday and many more to come. I hope all your birthday dreams and wishes come true. Not just a year older, but a year better. Here's to another year of experience. A simple celebration, a gathering of friends; here is wishing you great happiness, a joy that never ends. A Birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Enjoy the trip.

TO EVERY VETERAN AND ACTIVE SOLDIER: For all that you have freely given and sacrificed our family says, "Thank You. Thank you for protecting us. Thank you for fighting for others in this world so that they may have what we have. May God's Blessings be with you and yours, and may He keep you safe, always. We will always be praying for you and for your families."

Hello, All:

Veterans

Many joined and served our country.
Perhaps they gave their all.
Some end up heroes with their names
engraved upon a wall.

Some will return with memories
of ones that they recall
that served with them, right by their side
did not rerurn at all.

Someones brother, son or father
or sister, daughter or mom
leave a gapping hole of sorrow
in the home where they are from.

But they all have set a standard
all heroes are measured by.
The ones that stood there in the gap
and they never questioned why.

We're blessed to live with freedom now.
A gift from heroes that served.
Some fought and died, some fought and lived
and our freedom they preserved

So lets just pause and honor them
for serving our great nation.
We thank the Vets with all our heart
for all their dedication.

HONOR TO THE VETERANS OF AMERICA

Americans remember each man who freely served, honor them on Veteran's Day, make sure their day's observed.

For no one knows the aftermath of brave men sent to war, the pain of losing arms and legs, or buddies sent before.

World war vets still suffer, though many years have passed, from radiation in Japan, who knew effects would last?

They walked the bombed-out craters and tread the barren land, observing A-Bomb targets where America took a stand.

We must remember them too, the price that they have paid, the health of unborn children, and sacrifices made.

Wounds aren't always showing on the surface of brave men, some are left in nightmares,or just beneath the skin.

Some have turned their backs on two hundred thousand, more, who fought battles with the enemy to keep them from our shore.

How could this wealthy nation forget these mighty men, for even in their suffering, they'd do it all again.

Let's at least pay homage to those who linger still, the men of sixty years ago who fought with iron will...

And for the ones who've passed on, to paradise,I'm sure, God,grant them precious peace and love, and finally a cure.

Beth Sorters (Everett)

Just to let you know we took my husband back to the doctors yesterday. His tumor markers went from 163 six weeks ago to 907 Tuesday. The chemo isn't working so there is not anything they can do for him. So just keep him in your prayers. He is still real active and you can't tell from looking at him that he is ill. The LORD has been with us this whole time. He has a great attitude about it.

Margaret Dubois (Ammons)

Beth-
You are in my prayers-sounds like you both have a good spirit about this. I know this is difficult-stay positive and put your faith in the Lord.

Has anyone heard news that Nelson Moy has passed away? I received a notice on the administration site saying he had. But I need to have proof, and I will email this gentleman who sent an email.

I'm finally a grandma. Miss Towne Bratton arrived unexpectedly early on November 12 at 6:03 PM weighing 6 lbs 3 oz. She's perfect and her Mom and Dad are fine too. Grandparents - in a glow.

Beth, I am so sorry to hear the disappointing news about your husband's cancer. You know that your class will be praying for him and for you as well. God bless you both and give you strength and peace.

11/14/09 12:45 PM #2484

Marvin Lowman

Beth. sorry to hear the news about your husband. The enemy has always come to kill, steal, and destroy our faith. Just keep believing and keep the Faith, cause you have friends and classmates who are standing strong with you. If God be for you who can be against you? We will continue interceding on behalf of your husband.

FOR THOSE TIMES

WHEN YOU NEED A LITTLE
ENCOURAGEMENT

I know life can be discouraging at times, so I am giving you this.
I want you to read it every time you feel overwhelmed, so that it
may encourage you to move forward and look beyond your
troubles.

If ever you feel like giving up, don't. If you think you can't do
something, try. If you try and fail, then try again. If you don't, you
may always wonder why you gave up so easily.

Don't let life pass you by; the only way to get ahead is to hold
your head up high. Try not to be discouraged when things get
in your way; just climb that mountain inch by inch, and take life
day by day.

Eventually you will find the strength you need. to look toward
those heights, not only to scale that mountain but to reach it's
mighty peak.

Believe in whatever you think is worth believing in, and never
stop until you feel you have done all that you can to secure
your dreams. I have such faith in you, and I know that you
are capable of achieving anything you want.

ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT I HAVE FAITH IN YOU
.
