No way! Streets in Texas town go every which way
Where should you go when you've lost your way? Try Lake Jackson, Texas.

I found this on the internet and thought it worth sharing.

Thanks, Margaret.   From that photo my Indian name could be Old Woman with Many Chins.   I love, love, LOVE my job.  I work with the best people and meet more every day.

Hey Carrol, I had a dream last night that we were in Houston having lunch together but for some reason you had my suitcase in your car. I left it there and my phone was in there too. I had to meet you halfway from LJ to Houston to pick it up.

Could be jetlag, or it could be that you need to go on a mission trip with me.... <smile>

Susie--can you post the article from the Facts?

04/14/11 07:12 PM #3018

Carrol Reneau (Jeffers)

@ Sweet Pea, NO, I don't think it means I should go to Third World countries with you, but thanks.   Happy to meet you for lunch again though.  Susie Patton is getting some more things for your next adventure.  I did get your email about delivery so we will use that method.  We are going to Old Town Spring Saturday for blood donations so . . .    In addition to the thousands of ibuprofen, Neosporin, etc., I got a dozen readers of various strengths.  How about you getting some rest???

@Donna, I posted the online edition on your profile.   There was a little blurb about the picture I was in but it doesn't show up on the e-edition (not important any way and naturally, my name was mispelled).  Thompkins is a good reporter but he never, never gets Carrol right.  But then, neither did Ray.

To all of you who sent Birthday Greetings,  T H A N K S.   I do sincerly appreciate (and need) the good wishes.   And eventhough we all 'complain' about birthdays,  I have come to enjoy birthdays more now-days, after all, I want to have as many of them as possible because the alternative is tuff.

And I'm definitely looking forward to seening a lot of you at the May 21, Gathering, I will be there........if I can just remember where I am supposed to be when I see the big red X marking     May 21 on my calender.

For those of you not on facebook (where a video is posted),  I went with Susie Patton's Sunday school class to Branson, MO. last week.  Zip lining was not the object but . . . it was the most FUN thing we did.  OH. MY. GOSH.  You just have to do it.  Not nearly as scarey as you expect it to be.  I can't post videos here (cause it won't let me) but SERIOUS FUN was had by all.

Even the young man who was our guide was smiling EVEN AFTER Susie seriously kneed him when coming in for a landing - speeds run between 30 - 60 miles an hour.

Here is a most lady like photo of Gerri Sue Reichenbach Patton.

Truthfully, when you are coming in too fast you are supposed to spread legs and arms.  I never could let go of the handle bars to spread my arms which was why the landings scared me more than anything. I kept thinking I was going to take out the guide, the tower and the whole blinking tree!  Apparently Susie couldn't, either.

Ronnie(Ron) Evans

Hello to all,

I've been MIA the last two years, I hate when work takes over your life!  I finally caught up with some reading here after being back in LJ last week to visit my dad & brother.  I kept watching over my sholder while I was there least one of you creep up on me at Whataburger (lol).  Glad to hear so many of us still on the sunny side!

Had to slow down a bit the last few weeks, wrapped my motorcycle around a deer 3 weeks ago... terrible ... I really loved that bike.

My daugher is 16 now with drivers license & access to wheels so she's never home anymore.  At 13 Kenny is trapped at home with the "oldies" for now.

"How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are? "

Best to all of you!
