Thanks John as we use to say groovy man...If its good music I listen to it...We subscribed to Rhapsody for 10 bucks a month and while at work (out of the house) I crank up some good oldies! Kathy thanks...that pic is awesome I felt God in it..just a feeling and everyone needs an attic fan, mainly at night in the spring and fall.

Question: If we could go back in time... say 1966 would you change the path... Led Zepplin said "There are two paths to go by and we can always change the path we are on..listened to way too much Zepplin back then..but its a good saying. I would have pursued college while surfing in Hawaii...maybe

John...good to hear you are feeling good! You made me think of my Dad when you talked about your Dad! Tom Garret was one of a kind...my husband said he was a hoot on earth, and he knew in Heaven he was too!!! He passed away 5 years almost to the day before Randy did from liver and lung cancer. When he passed he was sitting in a chair, and then stood up, smiled and then passed away. GOD allowed me to see him in Heaven, as that was my prayer for him that he would be at peace and be truly happy in Heaven. I was a huge Daddy's girl, and I am so much like him, but my faith in GOD has steered me in a different direction. There has been tragedy, and great loss of loved ones, but GOD has always seen me through!!! Now look at me I am one crazy woman!!! LOL

Well...people I have written you about not being a klutz...that things just happen to me!!!!! My sister Janie was roaring this afternoon when I told her the story of the mush pot with sponges!!! OMG...picture this....I am at gymnastics with Miss Jolie, and of course you have to assist...don't know how much help I am...but trying to be the dedicated Nanny....well, the instructor asked the kids to jump in the mush pot...Jolie was scared, and I bent over to help her, but the mat dropped off dumping me head in upside down in the mush pot with 5 million big square sponges...no ladder, can't get a grip of stand on anything...I am upside down..Jolie screaming laughing!!! Okay...I work myself around to the top peering our of sponges...this thing is deep. Of course my arms are sprained from the falls earlier in the month...can't go anywhere...the instructor thinks I am hilarious because what could you do but laugh...but really I am stuck, and can't get out!!! Finally, she realizes I cannot get out...I am on the other side from where you could slide over a mat, and get out!!! All the Mothers pull me out!!!! Hooray!!! Now my arms hurt, my back muscles are twitching, my knees are sore from trying to jump out!!!! Wow...I do sound like a mess...I am just trying to get okay for Michael Phoel's Exporter trial reunion Friday night!!!LOL...don't worry I have been asking GOD for help! You won't believe it, but I am healing fast!!! I will make it...I will make it...!!!!! I might come in bow legged, hip out of place, tongue twisted, but Joy Chessher will be there!!!! Can anyone explain why they have these sponge mush pots!!! It is a death trap!!!!!!

Now...I am on my way to New Mexico and Colorado in a few days...can ya'll pray for me!!! LOL...I am one dangerous woman, but I am alive, healthy...well kind of, happy, and can laugh at myself!!!

GOD bless, and protect you all from creaky, weaky bones!!!
Love to all,
JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!! :0)

Judy Teague (Crenshaw)

wow, can't believe how far behind I got just going out of town a few days to granddaughter's graduation.

Now, Carrol, monkey-butt is a new term for me also. I found it at a tractor supply place. It was on some powder to keep certain areas of the body dry and it was named "Anti-Monkey Butt Powder". It was so funny to me that I bought some and laughed all day about it. Say it..monkey butt. makes you laugh doesn't it?

Now, as the 3 things game. I am very literal so my answers are not as "politically correct" as some of yours. People aren't things so I didn't include them. And I knew I could get a new Bible so I left that out. And I thought 3 words were 3 words, not phrases. So, I may have to do a retake on that one. I don't hate anyone either, just behaviors. God loves and so do I.

Now Joe, I love you and thanks for all the updates on music. But when you were talking about the cars and wrestlers it was like you guys listening to Joy's beauty tips. Blah, blah,blah....

I drove at 14 and just knew it was the family car and silver-blue. I remember Alice had to have a pillow. I was so glad my birthday was in September so I could start driving right after driver's ed. school.

I don't ever remember the milk man. We were probably too poor. I know we were too poor for the ice-cream truck. My mom would make cool-aid popsicles and give us one when we heard the i.c. truck coming. One time my mom was gone and my brother and sister were scraping ice from the metal freezer part. By the time I got a turn I just put my mouth on it to get the last bit. Of coarse my lips got stuck as my mother drove up the driveway. Being more scared of the punishment, I ripped away and ran to the restroom with 1/2 my lip stuck in the freezer. OUCH!!

I remember Kiterik and always thought she was a little R rated. My brother got to go to Houston for his birthday and turn in his looney bucks. He was on tv but we didn't get to go.

Mr. Huffman was a wonderful drivers ed. teacher. My first time behind the wheel was with him. He couldn't believe I had never practiced. I was the worse driver in my group. I can't remember who was with me.

I guess that is the update. Hope to stay caught up better. Gotta go revise my 3 paper.

Joy;

All can say is that you are blessed that nobody had their video camera running, although I would have loved to have seen it on you tube.

OMG...does anyone remember the snow ice cream our Mom's made when it snowed ONE TIME when we grew up!!!! I can still taste it, but now we would die from the chemicals in the snow!!! Also....I just remembered the yummy strawberry dacquris my Mom made at Christmas...she made us grape, but I liked the strawberry...knocked me out!! I didn't know that big bottle of rum did that to you!!!

Judy...I remember chasing the ice cream truck...mosquito truck..can still smell the spray. Remember we all went trick or treating...came home with huge bags of candy...we didn't lock our front door until a woman was chasing my Dad, and came in uninvited! My Dad was so handsome, and all the women were after him in Lake Jackson... They just made over Janie and me... baking cakes...etc!!!

OMGosh...betw/ that gas powered LaZBoy and Joy's sponge story, I've been laughing all evening.
Joy, do you suppose you could consider wearing a helmet to protect yourself a bit more while on your trip? :) Just a thought.
Carrol, I would also like my name to go into the pot for any such LaZBoys. :)

Joy Garrett (Chessher)

Kathy....Thank you for your concern! Lol....one of my friends called to say he was bringing me a crash helmet!!! Now I am thinking this is a good idea since I just did the splits in the kitchen from water that dripped in from the roof repair from last summer!!! The craziness never ends, but i sure have some strong bones, and a very hard head!!! Wow... Didn't know i could still do the splits!!! Maybe I will sign up for gymnastics with Jolie!! Lol!!!!!
