Hey, everyone. Judy Henson Wolfe and I both live about an hour from BRANSON, MO. If you come up, let us know. It is beautiful - very green because we have had lots of rain. Look at Judy's profile to see her pasture. We still plan to get together, especially since she didn't get to come. And if Julie Davidson S. comes our way we will for sure find a way!

Hey, everybody-I think I'm depressed. I miss the anticipation of the reunion and all the excitement that came with it. Life has returned to normal, which is very dull and boring. Work , work , work. I miss you guys.
********************************************
Okay, Magaret, what were you happy about BEFORE the reunion planning? Maybe its just been the rain for the last few days... ain't no sunshine when you're gone... the holidays are coming...the Brazoria county fair is near (yeah, I don't go any more, either) The DVD is nearly ready!!!! I talked to John and he is going to have a separate DVD of the Sunday service for $10. How much fun will that be????? We've got a post-reunion meeting the 24th.

Yes, I'm definitely looking forward to the 24th. I miss being with you guys. Don't do the fair-did that enough with Will showing heifers. I have to go to Chicago this next week for work and I do not want to go. But I gotta.
So, ya'll keep me in your prayers. Leave from Hobby at 6:50 AM on Tuesday and back at 9:00 PM Thursday. I'm tired already.

Thanks Joe and Kitty, I would have given anything to have been there.

I've been going through some of the things in Mother's house and ran across several class photos including the one of Mrs. Scoggins class Joe. There you are, right behind me. Those were the days.

Elise was right, we are both really close to Branson and it is beautiful here so if you plan a trip, let us know and we'll come meet you.

Love to you all!!

Judy

Morning Joe, yes the Exporters are 2 & 0. The first game against West Columbia Roughnecks was a rain out so therefore does not exist. Team and community spirit are running high right now the season looks good.
Good seeing you last week and look forward to doing it again soon. Several of us locals got together for lunch this past Tuesday, hope to keep that rolling for a while.

I want to thank each of you for this site and the memories you have brought up for me. It's been so good to have this connection to "home" again. I hadn't realized how much I had missed it. It has shown me that "home" isn't a place necessarily but the people who have been a part of your life. I've made friends over the years but none have the connection to my beginnings that all of you have. Thank you for reconnecting me to "home".

Love to you all!

Judy

Sweet Precious Carrol I love that video featuring Nat King Cole and the song is best by him.....Back to you both videos are awesome!

09/13/09 11:07 PM #2222

Joy Garrett (Chessher)

Hi Joe...thanks for the kind words...I think the energy comes from the Adkins diet!!! Hahahaha all those eggs are giving me protein.... lots of energy...muscle!! Joe that is great the Cowboys won!!! Randy Jr. loves the cowboys and will be happy!!

Vicki Fleming is on the Adkins diet now and when we talked tonight she was scrubbing and washing her face She has so much energy. I received a sweet card from Vicki saying she is on a path to great health and great skin!!! So, people if you have some weight to lose try the Adkins diet! Vicki you are a sweetheart!!!! This diet is awesome...your energy will increase, your complexion will clear up, you will lose weight, and be a "wild" woman like me!!! Hahahaha! That may not sound appealing...but you will have fun and laugh alot!!! One of my friends calls it..."Joy's world!" Hahahaha... he even wanted me to start a company called "Joy's World," and sell all the bling bling I love!!! Everytime I put my glitzeeeeeee glasses on my oldest son runs!!! He is worried it is catching, and his daughter will be "minnie joy!!" Don't tell him...but she is already wearing those crazy glasses, and is crazy!!!! Hahahahaha!!!!

Oh...Carrol Vicki said she loves the facial procedure and cannot quit scrubbing her face! She wants to make up for lost time, but I told her not to over wash because it removes the protective barrier of the skin leaving it defenseless to bacteria and free radicals.

Well, I am off to bed...busy day tomorrow!
GOD bless you all with a wonderful week!!!
Love,
JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS Joe your wife does not have to swim to go on a cruise! We can give her some floaties!!!!

Judy, there truly is no place like home, and memories came back as fast as you could read a new name tag. I missed seeing your name tag and your memories. Hope all is well and will be able to see you at, what ever happens next.
Be Blessed MM

Thank you all for the sweet birthday wishes. I can't believe I'm already a YEAR OLDER than the rest of you. Sheesh!

Judy Henson, great to see your post here. I so wish I could have seen you at the reunion. I looked for you and asked about you Saturday evening. The whole reunion weekend was a very sweet time -- lots of wonderful, loving people in this class. Would like to catch up with you and everything that's happened over the years.

I finally made it back home in Tennessee from the reunion Friday night. I left Monday morning after the Reunion for Harlingen where I hooked up with Ben Butler at Way of the Cross (WOTC). He put together a group and assisted me in locating a particular Mexican pastor, Abraham, in El Mezquital, Mexico that I have been wanting to meet. Abraham has no address, email or phone number and can only be reached if you go there. We took supplies of food and Bibles to him. His is one of 160 churches built by WOTC in Mexico. WOTC has seen almost one million salvations since their inception in the eighties...over 600,000 in Nicaragua alone in the last four or five years.

I conferred with Abraham about a future missionary trip to his village on the coast below Brownsville and received a warm invitation to come back any time. My trip there was successful and we accomplished everything I had hoped to. We'll see what the future holds as as we seek further vision from the Lord...anyone want to go? Thanks again to those of you who prayed for me and gave toward the effort. Your offering was hand delivered to two ministers of the highest integrity.

I am posting a few pics from that trip...most of my photos from the reunion are a bit blurry so I am glad that there was a pro photographer there capturing the joy of everyone. I can't wait to get the package with the dvd and pictures.

Wow! The weekend just blew by and I must say it was spectacular. Again, a mighty salute to the exceptional planning group for all your hard work...excellent job. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I will cherish the memories of our gathering forever.

Here is a senior citizen's take on the health care bill.
Part 1 is 7 minutes & Part 2 is 5 minutes.

This gentleman has a point, unfortunately I believe him to be wrong on many other points. No need to get angry with me, I've probably read more on this topic than most. I am not in favor of the way this bill is heading either, for the simple reason that we should have a single payer system in place. Just my socialistic side showing.

Marian and Dee Ann, a very Happy Birthday!! I hope you have a wonderful day.

Hey all you praying Exporters out there...I have a prayer request for you. I had a biopsy done on my arm before I left to come to the reunion. Well, it's a cancer and I will have surgery done on September 22. This is getting annoying.

I skipped a scheduled revision surgery on my cheek to come to the reunion. This should be the last round of surgery related to the cancer removed from my nose. I do it tomorrow with Dr. Humorless...actually his name is Dr. Moody (not kidding). I don't think either procedure is a huge deal, but I realize I need the prayer and you all need the practice (am kidding).

I am so thankful for the recent relational renewal of faith, love and concern that has emerged in this forum...God bless each of you...I'll keep you posted.
Gary
