Hey Marc, Will be at the show Friday (9-18-09) One of our guest classmates Gail Harris is a producer of the show and she invited me to the show when we were catching up at the reunion. Caught a rehersal last week and am looking forwar to the show.

What was the final total of 69 grads at the reunion?
I don't feel like trying to count in the group photo.

Carrol Reneau (Jeffers)

Kevin, counting the class picture wouldn't work any way, everyone wasn't in the picture. I have one section of registration papers and Susie Patton has the other and we have never put the 2 together. We probably will at the meeting next week. HOWEVER, that count won't be totally accurate either because we didn't get counts on spouses, etc. and some people never really registered. I know this because I have left over registration packets for people who I KNOW were there because I TALKED to them. They had prepaid, just didn't stop by the table to check in.

Hi everyone!!! I am writing yiu from LA!!! I am having a great time, and getting alot of love!!! Hope you all are having a great day!!!

Lyndel Coughlin called me asking me to pray for her. She is having surgery on her elbow. She is worried about having to wear a splint on her elbow making it impossible to bathe and dress. Could you all pray for her...that GOD would heal her very quickly and take her pain and fear. She wants to come to the ranch in a few weeks with us, and I am sure hoping she can....so we can pamper her!!! Maybe you hometown people could call her, and let her know she is loved!!! From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your love and prayers!!! You all are the best!!!

Well, I am off to a fun day with my wobderful son Chuckie!!!!
Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeseeeeeeee!!!!!

Judy Teague (Crenshaw)

Hey guys! I have been enjoying reading the updates.

Gary, praying for you and am blessed by how God is using you. I brag to all my friends what a wonderful group of people we turned out to be. I also tell my younger friends to not give up on their friends. We are better than we were at the 20th reunion. It takes time for a "fine wine" to cure(is that the word I want?)

I am on my way to Atlanta for a baby shower for my grandbaby. I am not excited at all about the 6 hour round trip. But I am excited that "Frankie" has stayed in her mommy's tummy and been a good little girl. She only has about 7 more weeks to go!!!

I am asking all you praying Exporters to pray for me as I try to go to school. You know about senior brains...
I haven't been to school in 22 years and need to be firing on all pistons to get this year done! Sorry, but you will have to keep praying until August. I know I can count on you. After that, we can go on that cruise and I will let my brain turn to jello and wabble over the waves.

Love you and talk soon!

09/19/09 07:16 AM #2271

Judy Teague (Crenshaw)

You do know I was talking about my brain being jello and wabbling. I hope I am not wabbling. But, who knows. I haven't been excersizing like I used to because I am in school.

Gary Vance

Thanks again for all your prayers...they are definitely working. I didn't take any pain meds yesterday and slept good last night...stitches come out Monday and already the cheek looks a lot better. Surgery Tuesday on the arm to remove the latest cancer. I have peace for a good outcome...Although surgeries are fun, I need to find a different hobby...maybe golf eh Michael?

Lyndel, I pray the Lord touches you with His amazing healing virtue and that your surgery goes perfectly. I ask for an excellent outcome with super quick recovery time with total restoration of health. I ask for a loving attendant to be handy during recuperation to assist with all your physical needs. Now, may the Lord grant you the "peace that passes understanding" as you anticipate the surgery. In Jesus wonderful Name. And all the Exporters say Amen!!

Joe Ballard

Amen!!!

Hey Judy!

I know exactly what you're talking about..."jello brain syndrome" also known more commonly as JBS. It comes in a wide variety of colors and flavors to pick from. They are all good! Remember, there's always room for Jello. My grandfather called Jello "nervous pudding".

Gosh, going back to school...I have dreams occasionally of that happening to me and then I wake up in a cold sweat. I always struggled in school...I think I might have been lysdexic or something...I had such a hard time learning my C,B,A's. More fireworks anyone?

Well, Lord we ask for you to give Judy great acuity of thought and understanding as she attends her classes and works on her assignments. May she grasp the details and find the most practical applications for everything she learns. Grant her favor with instructors and fellow students and give her eyes to see the Kingdom opportunities that emerge in her new scholastic environment. Bless her with the energy and brain power to excel and reward her with straight A's. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Just to make sure all you locals know that this coming week is homecoming for Brazosport, come on out and cheer for the home team.
And of course I would absolutely never brag about my seventeen year old running for home coming queen....
ooops! that just slipped out.

Marc, made the show Friday night -- it was great. Already making plans to see the next one.

Hey, Steve--Cheering for your daughter from Austin. What a great high school memory for her! Thanks for hanging in there with me and Todd while we waited for the tow truck after the reunion party at On The River. How annoying that was, but really enjoyed visiting with you.

Judy Teague (Crenshaw)

Thank you for all your encouragement. I do feel braver. I thank you for your suggestions for the smart pen. The problem is, we hardly ever hear them say anything. You just go to campus email. Get an assignment. Do it the best you can. Submit it by email. Read your chapters. Show up, take a test. Write a paper. Write another paper. Discussion groups on email and write a paper. Take a test and write a paper. Then write a really big paper. Oh yeah, read a bunch of research about your paper. Can you tell I'm not very good at writing a paper.

I will try to explain why a near senior citizen is going back to school. I put it off forever because I knew I would have to write a paper. Now that I am 4 years before retiring, I need the degree to get a substantial raise before I retire. Then my retirement will be based on the last two years. Soooo, if you are still with me, my whole retirement is dependent on my writing a lot of papers. Now, I am willing to pay big bucks to anyone who might be inspired. Is that cheating? Does that negate the prayers?? oh well, guess I better do it myself.

This degree is called a Specialist in Georgia. It is between a Masters and a Doctorate. Got my Masters 22 yrs ago. Swore I'd never do that again!! You can guess.. Had to write a paper there too.Well, you know what they say about never saying never, huh. Guess I better go. I wrote my paper for Tues. Just have to figure out how to get it in the email like she wants it. Now studying for a test. Have to do a discussion group and report this week also and another paper before Sat.
Sooo, love you guys and keep the prayers going.

09/20/09 09:15 PM #2285

Joe Ballard

wow Judy that made me tired just thinking about doing all of that

09/21/09 12:04 AM #2286

Kitty Allison (Hilton)

This is exciting, Judy! You can do it. I wish Allison was closer and could help. She's only in her second year, taking 19 units this semester, but she loves to write papers...and fortunately for her, she's good at it!! She enjoys the flexibility of online classes...she has both online and on campus classes. You'll really enjoy the extra retirement $$$ and what a gift that you can get something short of a doctorate!! Prayers and love coming your way!
