Comments:

Spent 20 years in the US Army. First 9 years as a Microwave Radio Repairman. The last 11 Years as a Recruiter. Served in Germany, Belgium and Viet Nam. Stationed in New Jersey, Maryland, New Mexico and Texas. After retiring, owned small grocery store for a while and then delivered mail for 14 years. Took up gold prospecting and spent 10 summers in the Nome, Alaska area prospecting and having fun. Have a little gold from a lot of the western states during travels to them.

What did you always want to do that you haven't done yet?

Still haven't found that really large gold nugget yet. Largest I was involved in finding was 1.75 ounces, but not mine. Largest I have is 7.3 grams.(about 1/4 ounce) Now would like to go north to Deadhorse Ak and spend a couple of weeks sleeping all day and watching the northern lights all night.

Do you still have family in the Carbon area?

Yes

How old do you feel?

Depends on the day I guess, but basically I probably feel my age

What are your favorite places to go?

Alaska, particually the Nome area

What is the title of the last book you read?

Separated by the War: The Cave; and the 3 follow up books by Richard in the series.

By Richard Arnold

What is your favorite sport? Team?

Gave up on Pro football because of the disrespect they show to America

What is your favorite food?

Looking at my waist, all , but to narrow it to one, probably spaghetti, or steak, or catfish, or Tex-Mex,or beans and cornbread, or blueberry pie. etc, etc, and etc.

Any words of wisdom?

Be true to yourself.
