I worked at Miller Brothers downtown for a few years while in college. Then as part owner of Shearer Amusement Company I was able to work with my mother and later my husband, Bill and I married in a 1975. We were fortunate enough to travel. Our favorite was to the Middle East for a Holy Land Tour with First Centenary. In 1998 I joined Realty Center as an agent. While there, in 2005, I started a “hobby”. I opened A Child’s Garden Boutique on Frazier Avenue(This was supposed to be a short term . I have had more fun and absolutely love my customers. My “kids” will still come in for Fairy Dust even after they have outgrown the clothes.🥰
City gave me some of the best years of my life. A great education and wonderful friends.I always loved our Choir and the times we would go out and sing for groups and meetings or for the school. We had some very talented singers.
I have always been so proud at the way we embraced integration. Many of us of both races became lifelong friends. We are Dynamos after all.

I am so sad to hear about Rob's passing. Through the years it was fun to keep up on Facebook.Football season was so much fun for him with his tailgate parties. Bill and I told him that we would try to make a UT- GA game down there. Now Bill and Rob along with a number of our classmates will have a Heavenly Party. Rob, rest in peace and one day we will all gather again.

I'm so sorry to hear about Bill, Jeanne. My best to both of you.
Doug was always one of the nicest guys at City. He always treated everyone the same. He was your friend. and he always remained that Nice Guy. I enjoyed reconnecting with him on Facebook. He was so well loved and respected by former students. He set the bar high for all of us. You might say the world is a better place because of him. My prayers are with Loraine and the children. Rest In Peace Doug.
