Katie McKay associate pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Judy was born July 1, 1941 in Cincinnati, OH to Robert James and Eula Mae Wiles Boone and died May 19, 2009 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi, Chapter Xi Sigma and a past member of the Krewe of Gemini. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Antoine David Michels and her parents. She is survived by sons, Dan Michels and wife Kathy of Keller, TX, Robby Michels and wife Toyah of Bossier City, LA, daughters, Janet Michels of Shreveport, LA, Kathy Newlund and husband Stephen of Omaha, NE, brothers, Joe Boone and wife Tatiana, Jack Boone and wife Marilyn, John Boone, nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring Judy as pallbearers will be Dan Michels, Robby Michels, Steven Evans, Dray Davis, Robert Shane and Dave Harmon. Judy was a beautiful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew her. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Abdehou, the nurses and staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont for making her comfortable during her final days. A special note of appreciation is also given to her wonderful sitters, Margaree Pearson and Cassandra Chatmon.
