Carla was one of the nicest people I have ever known. She always had a big smile and was anxious to help in anyway she.
I missed her wising me a happy Birthday this year. She always did 😢

Carla’s many conversations with me always started with the words…. do you remember? Often, I did not and she would then precisely recount some situation, some person or some landmark of our past.
We both grew up in Hartwell and then went off to that …” Big School Woodward.” When we celebrated our 75th Birthday at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse, she brought some old pictures of Hartwell and shared them with me………Things I had long forgotten but were truly special. Her contributions in ensuring that we stayed connected as the Woodward Class of 1959 cannot be overemphasized.
Carla, you have my personal thanks and great admiration…………. RIP

It seems like only yesterday Carla and I were at Hartwell Elementary. We then took two buses transferring in Carthage in order to attend Woodward high. I loved her humor and good nature. She ws an asset to our class because of her relentless search for updates on fellow classmates. We lift prayers for her family at this time of loss.

Carla will be missed by everyone that knew her. Working on the 50th reunion committee with her trying to locate the missing people was really something. I don’t know how she had so much information. She would contact me and tell me that she heard one of our class members lived in some town or city I never heard of. I’d search it out and sure enough would locate that person. She was something special

So many memories come flooding back about Carla Classmate, childhood friend , and the sweetist person I knew. When we were in grade school ( I went to Roselawn) over the summers I would walk to Hartwell to go swimming at the pool to meet Carla and Hang out then on to Woodward and GAA, Art Club and Showcase.I can' think of a more giving gal and It leaves a big hole in my heart to think she is gone Nancy
