Sorry I was not able to attend the reunion. I would have loved to reconnect with "the good old days"

I do have a remarkable reunion story that just happened.
In January of last year I received an e-mail from Sonny Cranch, a name I had not seen, heard from. or even thought about, for 63 years. I was shocked to see his e-mail asking how I was, etc. My first thought was he was desperate for money and was reaching out to anyone he could think of. But no, after finding him on the internet, he owns a very successful public relations firm in Baton Rouge LA. I responded and he told me the following. The one holiday season when our families shared a 2 family home in Cincinnati, Sonny and I were 5 years old, for Chanukah they came to us and brought me 8 gifts. For Christmas, we went to them and brought him 1 gift. So every Christmas he would be at a party and tell the story of the "missing" 7 gifts. This happened in Dec of 2011 and Sonny wondered what ever happened to me. Through the class web site he contacted me in January 2012
Every year my son and I have a father/son weekend, no wives allowed.
This year we met in New Orleans. I e-mailed Sonny we were coming down and we made a date to meet. Meanwhile, my wife said I had to bring him the 7 "missing" gifts. After thinking about it, she came up with the perfect solution, 6 pints of Greaters Ice Cream and for gift #7, a Greaters ice cream scoop. I had it sent to Sonny's office, and last weekend, after 63 years we met. It was fantastic!
Sonny went to Walnut Hills High School, so if anyone recognizes his name, please let me know. We're now planning a Cincinnati weekend to go back to our roots.

Debbi and I currently live in northern New Jersey right outside on New York City where we spend a lot of our time going to shows, restaurants, etc.
If anyone finds themselves coming up our way, please let me know and we can have a mini reunion just like I had with Sonny
