Mary Stuebing Robertson

I moved to Southern California my junior year in college to finish up and remained, working for Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services. I had various jobs with DPSS but the one I held the longest and enjoyed the most was administering the food stamp program for the county. I retired in 2002, living in Anaheim California near our youngest daughter Sara’s family. In fall 2020, thanks to my daughter Carla and son-in-law Brad who was a military attaché, I received approval to stay with them in Taiwan for 6 months during COVID. Taiwan had basically no COVID because they had stopped entry of all foreigners from the onset of COVID, thus the need to pull strings to allow me to come. Then in 2021, when Carla and family moved to Hawaii, I moved from Anaheim to Oahu Hawaii and am living with them in a town called Kailua.
