Died: May 8, 2022

Charles "Chuck" Moerdick, 69, of Crystal Lake passed away Sunday May 8, 2022 at Journey Hospice Care Inpatient Unit in Barrington.
He was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, on September 10, 1952 to Ronald P. and Delphine (Opsal) Moerdick. He married Mary Carmody on January 26, 1974.
He loved spending time with his loving family. He loved to follow his sport teams, White Sox, Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls and Notre Dame. He worked for many years at McDonalds Corp. and Dunkin Donuts. He was loved and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife Mary; a son Tom (Yadira); a grandson Payton; also, a brother Kevin (Sue); and a sister Diane (Mark).
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Shelley; and brother-in-law Paul.
A celebration of his life will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.
