It is with deep sadness to have to inform you of the passing of another of our classmates, Ron Ritter.  Details follow:

Born: January 21, 1952 in Chicago, IL
Died: February 20, 2022 in Crystal Lake, IL


Ronald F. Ritter, 70, of Crystal Lake passed away February 20, 2022 at home surrounded by family. He was born January 21, 1952 to Wilbert and Thelma Ritter. Ron graduated from Crystal Lake Community High School in 1970. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he performed as a diesel mechanic with the Corp of Engineers reaching the rank of Sergeant. On June 4, 1977 he married Lynn Peters and started his family. Ron was a hard working Union Carpenter for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending his free time going out for morning coffee with his twin brother Don, watching old westerns, attending his grandchildren's sporting events and having a cold Old Style at local taverns amongst friends. He was also a diehard Cubs and Bears fan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn and their children, Ronald "Troy" Ritter, Jason (Carrie) Ritter, Joseph Ritter, Katie Davies; his grandchildren, Hailey, Jason Jr., Raven, Autumn, Willow, and Ariel; his twin brother, Don (Dolores) Ritter; and his brother, Ross (Min) Stacey.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
