Robert Edward Anderson March 5, 1946 - August 22, 2016
Robert Edward Anderson passed away on August 22nd, 2016, in Gresham, Oregon. He was born on March 5th, 1946, in Portland, Oregon, to his parents: Lloyd Elwood and Dolly "Violet" (Berg) Anderson. He attended Oregon State University, from which he graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Industrial Engineering.
On November 5th, 1971, Robert married the love of his life, Karen Nyberg, in Cloverdale, Oregon, and they were married until his passing. Together, they had two children.
Robert was a member of the National Guard from 1967 to 1980. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gresham, the Douglas Ridge Rifle Club, and the Washington County Fly Fishing Club. He was a true outdoorsman, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and marksmanship. He cherished the many wonderful trips he took with his wife as well. He will always be remembered as a kind and resourceful man who was always ready to give his time and help to others.
