Nicholas Ewing July 17, 1946 – October 22, 2000
Nicholas W. Ewing, 54, died at his home in Los Angeles, CA, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 17, 1946, in Seattle and raised in Edmonds.
Nick graduated from Edmonds High School and the University of San Francisco. He had been a resident of California for the past 32 years. He traveled extensively throughout the world on business and for pleasure.
Nick is survived by his loving parents, Sam and Evelyn Yost Ewing of Edmonds; brother, Sam (Gina) Ewing, Jr. of Mukilteo; sister, Deborah (Robert) Duvall of Edmonds; nieces and nephews, Nicole Gillihan, Desiree', Reggie and Natasha Ewing, Reilly and Devin Duvall; aunts and uncles, Walter (Laurel) Ewing, Irma (Joyce) Perrine, Aletha Handran, Dixie Yost, Jane Sorensen, and Molly (Richard) Howlett; and numerous cousins.
Funeral Mass Friday, November 3, 2000, 3:00 p.m., at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 630 7th Avenue N., Edmonds. Family suggests memorials to Children’s Hospital and Medical Center or favorite charity. Arrangements, Beck's Funeral Home, Edmonds. (425)771-1234.
