Dennis Earl Hall      December 24, 1945 — October 10, 2007

A gathering was held on Saturday, November 3, 2007, in the Oregon Public Broadcasting building for Dennis Earl Hall, who died October 10, 2007 at age 61. Dennis Hall was born December 24, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in the Army for a total of 20 years, including the Vietnam War. He graduated from Huxley Environmental College of Western Washington State College. He moved to Portland, Oregon in 1985, where he worked in the U.S. Postal Service's main branch. He was a volunteer coordinator for OPB. In 1972, he married Madelyn Priebe.

Survivors include his wife; son, Christopher; daughter, Kilmeny; mother, Joan; sisters, JoAnne Kelly and Carol Zemanek; and two grandchildren. His son Ross preceded him in death in 1973.

Dennis was a good friend of mine.  We were on the wrestling team together. I remember his cars speeddometer did not work and he was pulled over on the freeway for going 40MPH.  Great guy.
