In Memory

Jody Menne (Keith)

Jody Menne (Keith)

JoLynn 'Jody' Menne Keith           April 24, 1946 - October 12, 2016

Our dear Jody's life was cut short after a year-long battle with PSC and complications of lung cancer. Born in 1946 to Larry and Vida Menne, Jody has spent most of her life here in Edmonds, WA. While attending Edmonds High School, she met the love of her life, Jim Keith. The two high school sweethearts wed and had two children, Jason and Jamie. Jim and Jody also welcomed their son's friend, Pat into their family as their own after learning of family issues.

Jody was a medical assistant for most of her career where she made lifelong friendships. One of Jody's favorite things was vacationing to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico every year for 25 years. She and Jim built wonderful relationships in Mexico and also got to spend time with her brother, Twig.

After retirement, Jody liked to spend time with her family, including her beautiful grandkids, Allie, Parker, Tyler, Max and Mason.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Jason, Jamie (John) and Pat; and grandchildren, as mentioned above; brothers, Twig and Marsh (Jenn); sisters, Kim (Dave) and Meredith (Jim). Many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends also survive her.

"Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day… unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear."

Jody was one of the closest friends that I will ever have.  At a time in my life when I really needed support, she was always there for me.

I loved her dearly and will miss her always.  She has a place in my heart forever.
