David was my best friend's older brother and he was like a brother to me too. A truly remarkable human being. His sense of humor and innate intelligence were only surpassed by the commitment and vision he and Marilynn contributed to making St. Margaret's Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano one of the premier college prep schools in the nation. Not to mention the success he experienced as the father of a son, Michael, who graduated from St. Margaret's and found the way to live his dream of becoming a jet fighter pilot for the U.S. Navy. Suffice to say we are all safer because of Michael's leadership. In summary, our friend Dave came a long way from his first steady job sweeping up the streets and sidewalks of Disneyland. No wonder the place went down the tubes after he moved on.
