Wendy Wall (Souza) (1970)

Nancy oh Nancy....so much heartache, tragedy and despair over her teen years.  We were always close friends, although we seldom saw each other.  The last time I saw her was about 8 years ago, on a visit she made here in Hawaii.  She had found true happiness with her husband, Don, and the rest of his family and had recently reunited with her son, Dagan. Lou Gehrig's Disease had taken over in her body, but not her mind and spirit.  When Don called me after her passing, I could not cry, as I knew she was in the room with me, and smiled.  She always had a kind and loving heart and I will remember so many times of fun and excitement.  She and Dan Gruber would always go out hitchhiking with plastic bags on their feet and I know that they are in Heaven with their "plastic shoes" on right now!  Wendy Wall Souza
