I had written a note about Steve in my profile. Now, with a few extra minutes & for the first time, I was looking through the "in memory" & saw Steve Adams passing in 2005. Steve was a good friend in high school (so many memories). We both played trombone in band. ! I remember when Steve got a brand new 65 Mustang & he was beyond excited. There was never a dull moment when Steve was around! Sorry to hear of his passing!
I've just logged onto this site for the first time and found the In Memory page. Seeing Steve listed really jolted me. We dated on and off through high school and he was someone I always wondered about and how things went for him in his life. I always thought I'd run into him someday and catch up. Opportunity lost. He was a good guy and I have lots of memories of time we spent together. Once, Louise and I went over to the Pike when we were supposed to be at the band awards ceremony at the Long Beach arena. We ran into Steve and Phil from the band and had a great time on the rides and walking around. When we got back to the arena parking, all of the school buses were loaded up and pulling out. Our friends figured we were together and okay so we weren't reported. We missed our bus! Steve's gramma rescued us and my folks never knew. I will remember his smile,his kind eyes and how he'd ask me back out even though I was so fickled.
