Sadly I learned of the death of Michelle Mize a few days ago from her brothers Tony and Greg. The Mize family was a big part of my life from Crosby Elementary on to GGHS, until I moved to Hawaii in 1969. I last saw Michelle, who joined Brooke Blades and I at the 2000 reunion where she primarily "took care" of Brooke and I, instead of the other way around! Never a dull moment.....She was very creative and talented in her artistic endeavors. She passed instantly when she fell at her home in Illinois, a couple of weeks shy of her 69th birthday.
