Hi Linda,

On Richard Daniel Eggeman, Donna and I worked together to confirm this information for some time.  As I recall, we checked several databases and Donna finally confirmed Rick's passing through contact with a family member.  I also don't recall who that individual was or his/her relationship to Rick.  Our reunion committee tries to obtain at least two sources of information confirming a death before adding a classmate's name to our deceased roster and posting the name and classmate photo on our Memorial Board for reunion events.  In that regard, we go to great lengths to compare and verify information we receive concerning a classmate to information we already have available; which includes comparing that person's name, date of birth, age, date of death, last known address and place of death.  We always hope that the information doesn't pertain to our classmate; but sadly, by the time the committee has solid confirmation, reality sets in for us and we deal with it accordingly.  Not a pleasant task, by any means. :-(

I actually spoke with a family member who confirmed it.  I don't remember which one so I've sent out a couple of messages on Messenger, to a couple of his family members to make sure.  I would not have posted the information if it had not been confirmed though.

Per Ancestry: Born:  11-8-1953  doesn't show that he has passed away. Ancestry shows an address in Lake Elsinore in 1993
