Craig was one of my best friends in high school and throughout our college years. He completed a B.A. at Cal-State Fullerton (year ?) and went on to get a M.A. in Speech Communications. He was an instructor at Cal-Sate Fullerton for several years (I took a class from him when I was a student there). After that he worked as an accountant for several companies.
Craig was very interested in records and had an extensive collection numbering in the thousands, acquiring them from several record clubs. As a result, he knew details about many singers/groups.
I saw Craig in 2001-2002 time frame. At that time he was living in West Hollywood and had two dogs that were his "best friends". He had developed some heart trouble and was also suffering from high blood pressure. I rememeber that he came to visit me, my wife and our infant son while I was doing work in Los Angeles. That was the last time that I saw Craig.
I have very fond memories of Craig, Mike Hanrahan, Linda Lambert, Cathy Pickering and Kathy Blankenship from our junior and senior years. We were a sight to behold after football games, eating burgers at Bob's Big Boy and then selecting a classmate's home to TP. While in college, Craig and I used to take study breaks and meet at the pool hall next to Belisle's (near Harbor Blvd). He was a TERRIBLE pool player, but we always had fun (at least I did).
Craig was a great guy and I will always cherish our friendship. God bless you, Craig... I miss you!
During the Holiday season I get very sentimental regarding memorable moments. Receiving a recent email, I ran across this post. I too remember all of the great times we had on "Football nights" In fact, I still try to create those football memories, by being an avid San Francisco 49er Season ticket holder.
I will hold each and everyone of you so near and dear to my heart. Linda and Craig may you rest in peace. To those who are still enjoying life...Live it each and everyday to it's fullest. God Bless and Rest Craig and Linda!
