Sue Ellen Picker, born November 20, 1953 in New York City, died December 6,2006. She grew up in Garden Grove, CA. She graduated from Garden Grove High School in 1971, took in B.A. at UCI in 1974, attended the University of Lund in Sweden, and completed her format education with a M.A. in Library Science at UCLA. She traveled in Europe and Central America. Bookbinder, Master Gardener, Disabled Rights Advocate and a connoisseur of words, books and foods, she is survived by her beloved son, Kenneth, parents Frank and Vivian Picker, siblings Michael, Seth, Pamela, Sarah and Eileen, nephews Marcus and Benjamin, niece Krista, and a multitude of friends.
