I was saddened to learn of Brock's death at such a relatively young age. I well remember our sharing a workstation in biology (sorry, forgot the teacher's name...) and the surprising shared confidences that passed between us in that hour... a pregnant girlfriend and a future that was rapidly unfolding in front of him. I never learned where that story ended, I hope it went well, but experience leads me to believe that maybe it was rough. Anyway, Brock was a great friend who was filled with life and possessed an amazing energy that was all about fun and the moment. For me, he was one of those key people who are a part of the grand collage of high school; I can only hope that in his time he left a legacy of love and that out of the shock of his loss a part of him is carried forward into the future.
