Rick was a friend to everyone. He had that about him where he could make friends with anyone he came in contact with. Rick was the head chef at Anaheim Memorial Hospital. Doing what he loved to do.... cook. He worked there for over 20yrs He loved racing his 69 Mustang with his best friend Ed and his Plymouth Duster and joined a racing club. Rick never married. He didn't want to despite me telling him he just hadn't met "Miss Right" yet. He did have a female friend who had a baby girl. He took care of that baby girl as if she was his own. He would have been a good father. In May of 2000 Rick had a heart attack he didnt know he was having. He was admitted in the hospital and was due go home after 3 days when he had another heart attack in the same spot and despite many efforts they could not revive him. He passed just 9 mos after our mother. Rick was my best friend and I truly miss him with all my heart.
